What is SpaceBus?

SpaceBus is an Educational Adventure Podcast with a mission to launch kids to school, even if their desk is the kitchen table. This free remote learning resource helps parents & teachers start their kids’ school day on the right foot in about 6 minutes. In each episode, an expert helps the riders of the SpaceBus solve a riddle by dropping the knowledge they know best — from moons to Mesopotamia, to squids and sanitation.

SpaceBus will take you to school in style and teach you something along the way.

How Does It Help?

It’s been difficult for kids to switch to school-mode without a bus to ride in or a physical school to stand in. SpaceBus recreates those conditions by transporting kids through the power of their imagination. Each episode is fun, funny, and will have them learning something brand-new. Each episode ends by walking the students through a checklist that puts school front and center and distractions away so they are focused on school right when the episode ends.

Why A Podcast?

It’s all about less screen time and more imagination time! Kids are creative and clever, building entire worlds in their head. The voices and the story are ours, but how it really looks and feels is up to the creative energy of the listener. Plus, it’s super mobile! Whether sitting on the couch, driving to school, or walking around the block, any activity can become a ride on the SpaceBus.

What’s the “SpaceBus e-Blast?”

It can be tough to stay on top of a podcast — but we’ve made it easy. The SpaceBus e-Blast sends a new episode directly to your inbox every school day so you never have to go searching for the latest episode. It also includes resources that allows you to keep up with what your child is learning aboard the SpaceBus.
